Andres Latapí Escalante is the Executive Coordinator of the Program for Sustainable Development, Agenda 21-Mexico. He is a former Coordinator of the Pprogram of Applied Anthropology in the Research Institute of Anthropology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He is a former second secretary of environmental affairs with the Mexican
government at the Office of Representation of the Social Development Ministry in Washington, D.C., in the United States. He has also served as an anthropological researcher for the regional
development and environment department of the Organization of American States..He has work as Technical Analysis at the Comision of Biodiversity, and in the Social Sciences Department at the Colegio Mexiguerse, A.C.
He received a master's degree in Anthropology from the Universidad Iberoamericana. As a LEAD Associate, Mr. Latapf intends to increase his knowledge and experience in the management of environmental problems through applied social science.
