Abiodun SHONUBI is academic director for LEAD Nigeria. A pioneer staff, he came to LEAD with several years working experience in both public and private sectors, including institutions of higher learning, manufacturing and marketing industries.

Before joining FEDEN, where LEAD-Nigeria is based, he was the Managing Director of Loomash Incorporated, a Marketing Consulting and Commodity brokerage firm. Prior to that he was the pioneer Marketing and Sales Manager at Yankari Natural Spring Water Ltd., a company that bottles and markets natural spring water. He also worked for a multinational - Nestle Foods (Nig.) Plc.(then known Food Specialities Nigeria Ltd.), as the Planning Officer in the Logistics Division. He also had a 5-year stint in academics at University of Ife (Now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife) and Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye, and at the latter served as the Acting Head of the Department of Business Administration. His areas of interest in environment and development include corporate environmentalism; environmental marketing, eco-investing; eco-financing; international trade; corporate and social responsibility; Team-Building; and networking among non-governmental organizations.

Biodun holds a Masters degree in Business Administration(M.B.A.), a Bachelors degree in Geography, and a Certificate in Computer Programming.
