Trevor REES (BSc) is the Head of Development at LEAD International. He has responsibility for the development and coordination of international projects delivered by and through the LEAD Network. The vast majority of projects reflect the core skills of LEAD International in training and capacity development.
Trevor has a background in training that is complimented by considerable project management expertise and several years’ private sector experience working in Azerbaijan and Georgia. Currently Trevor is coordinating the development and delivery of a wide range of projects for LEAD International including an initiative to involve communities located along the route of an oil pipeline in renewable energy projects and delivery of training for the Ministry of Environment for Moldova.
Prior to joining LEAD Trevor coordinated stakeholder participation in the Bonn International Renewable Energy Conference for the German Government and worked to enable the effective participation of NGOs in Eastern Europe in the UN Environment for Europe Conference.
Trevor worked for 4 years as the General Manager for a major contractor in Azerbaijan, and was involved in all aspects of business development, tendering and contract management. Previously Trevor was part of the Training Team at the Peak District National Park (UK) Training Centre involved in the delivery of courses to environmental professionals on a range of skills.
Trevor has a BSc in Environmental Management and has worked in a number of US National Parks including the US Virgin Islands and Chaco Canyon.
