Ahmad Mukhlisin Rony is a Research Associate at the Institute of Natural and Regional Resources (INRR), Bogor, West Java Province, Indonesia since 2001. The institution focuses its work on research as well as action plan recommendation on environmental issues, community and social aspect, and management system related to natural resources management. His main responsibility in INRR includes socio-economic aspect analysis; research design and planning, monitoring and evaluation. Rony has intensive experience on regional planning related to rural development, with emphasis on socio economic aspects. He has worked for various consultant companies from 1989 to 2000. He was a part timer lecturer at Faculty of Economy, Ibn Khaldun University (1999-2002). He completed his master degree in Regional and Rural Development from Bogor Institute of Agriculture in 1995. He is a true believer of the strengths from a synergy among different potentials toward win-win solution that is fair and mostly likely accepted by related parties.
