Ani MARDIASTUTI lectures on conservation topics at the Bogor Institute of Agriculture, Indonesia. She also continues to pursue her interest in forestry management and new concepts that view forests as entire ecosystems rather than merely a collection of trees. Through the University's extention program, she hopes to develop a system of environmental education and environmental action programs for school children.
She has a Ph.D. in wildlife ecology and management, as well as a degree in forest management. She specialized in conservation of the swiftlet and the hornbill, two bird species. On September 2004 until now she join KEHATI Foundation as senior Policy Advisor.
