Agus GUNTORO is a lecturer and geophysics coordinator at the University of Trisakti, a leading private university in Jakarta. In his work, he attempts to more closely integrate the principles of sustainable development into the university curricula. He also promotes his belief that students should be taught how to implement those principles in their respective career activities. After completing his engineering degree in Indonesia, Agus Guntoro obtained a Ph.D. in geology and geophysics at the University of London, England.

Since January 2000 he appointed as Head of Department of Geological Technique.
