Tina Artini, a senior government official, is currently head of division for Environmental Assessment (EA) Development at the Indonesian Ministry of Environment in Jakarta which she has joined since 1984. Her responsibilities are to analyse the EIA Study of proposed project development, especially social impact, to develop the Environmental Assessment Policy, Regulation and Guidelines, to develop the Ecological Risk Assessment (ERA)Process in the EA, to develop the Environmental Audit Policy and Guidelines, to develop gender analysis in environmental management, and to develop the social impact assessment guidelines and training.
Prior to this job, she worked at Environmental Impact Management Agency (BAPEDAL) in the EIA Division from 1990 - 2000, and she worked in the Conservation of Natural Resources of the Ministry of Environment from 1984 - 1990.
Artini has a master's degree (1994) in Geography Department of Environmental Studies Faculty in Waterloo University, Ontario, Canada
