Ms. Bambang received a master's degree in statistics from the University of New South Wales in Australia. She received her bachelor's degree, also in statistics, from Akademi Statistik in Jakarta. She was employed in the Environmental Statistics Subdivision of the Central Board of Statistics, where she responsibled for compilation of natural resource and environmental statistics. She involved in the Social Economic National Survey, one of the most important surveys for evaluating welfare conditions of Indonesian people. She also involved in the compilation of Women's Social Indicators and in the Mother-Child Survival Analysis. In the field of environment and development, Ms. Bambang is interested in environmental protection, gender and spirituality.
