Wahyu Muryadi received a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Airlangga. As a journalist, he covered the NAM and APEC conferences for the weekly publication Tempo, before it was banned in 1994. He was a freelance journalist and owns a production company specializing in Islamic programs. He is particularly interested in urban development, religious studies, and political science and as a LEAD Associate, he hopes to help build a network of information on environment and development issues. Since November 2001, he is pointed as a Managing Editor at Tempo Magazine. In 2002, he is taking master degree in broadcasting at the University of Indonesia. On 2005 he works in Tempo News Room, on 2006 for Koran tempo (TEMPO Group) and on January 2007 Wahyu promoted as Executive Editor for TEMPO Magazine.
