Ali Khan has over 20 years of international experience in the Energy sector. He has worked in Finance, Engineering, Environment and Sustainable Development and Information Technology functions of Ontario Power Generation (Canada), Ontario Hydro (Canada), Exxon Chemical (Pakistan) and Schlumberger (Indonesia and Australia). Ali's diversified experience is complemented by an M.B.A. in Finance from University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. in Mechancial Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan.

Ali has held positions with increasing responsibility in Financial Planning, Controllership, Treasury, Environment and Sustainable Development divisions of Ontario Power Generation and Ontario Hydro. Prior to this, he spent 3 years at Exxon Chemical with responsibility for Corporate Planning and Reporting, Project Financing and Divestments. In addition, Ali worked for 2 years as an Oil Exploration and Wire-line Logging engineer with Schlumberger.

Ali is currently Manager of Information Technology at Ontario Power Generation Inc., with responsibility for management and oversight of all Corporate IT Systems.

In 1998 and 1999, Ali completed fellowships with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) in Geneva and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Islamabad. He has also served on the Board of the Federation of Ontario Naturlists (FON) for 2 years.
