Alexander Nascimento is a specialist in socio-environmental education and psychology and holds a masters degree from the Department of Psychology of the Fluminense Federal University (UFF - RJ). He was member and leader in the Brazilian Boy Scouts Union for thirteen years. His career started 19 years ago with projects on environmental education and developing play activities in the natural environment with children and urban youngsters. For the last 15 years he has dedicated himself to the defense of the human rights of children and youngsters who are in a vulnerable situation, an area in which he currently provides advice and consultancy. He is council member of the non-governmental organization Devir Sócio-Ambiental Movement and member of the Coordination Council of the Municipal Group of Integral Attention of the Child and the Adolescent of Niterói/Rio de Janeiro.

Alexandre Nascimento é educador socioambiental, psicólogo e mestre em estudos da subjetividade pelo Departamento de Psicologia da Universidade Federal Fluminense (RJ). Foi membro juvenil e dirigente da União dos Escoteiros do Brasil por treze anos. Iniciou sua vida profissional há 19 anos com projetos de educação ambiental, desenvolvendo atividades lúdicas no meio ambiente natural com crianças e jovens urbanos. Há 15 anos dedica-se a defesa dos direitos humanos de crianças e jovens em situação de direitos violados, área em que atualmente presta assessoria e consultoria. É conselheiro da organização não-governamental Devir Movimento Sócio-Ambiental e membro da Coordenação Colegiada da Rede Municipal de Atenção Integral da Criança e do Adolescente de Niterói / RJ.
