André K. LEVY works at the Center for Support to Small Farmers, Erexim/RS (CAPA), where he provides support in ecological agriculture production, organization and commercialization for groups of small farmers. He is also an instructor in several courses related to ecological production and social organization. He worked as adviser in the Bureau for Planning and Housing, City Hall of Alvorada-RS in 1998; ARIP Agro industrial LTDA in 1999; and the Cooperative of Ecologists Citricultors from Vale do Ca� (ECOCITRUS) from 1997 to 1999. He was also involved in the creation and development of REDE ECOVIDA de Agroecologia.

A.K. Levy graduated with a degree in agronomy from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He participated in trainee programs on fauna management through the Carnivores Project Foz do Iguacu(1991) and Trindade Island Expedition TAMAR IBAMA Project (June-August 1994). He has also participated in training courses on ecological agriculture, project elaboration and business management.
