Ana Cláudia TARTALIA e Silva is a chemist and is doing a master's course in Environmental and Public Health at São Paulo University. She works at CETESB - Environmental Agency of São Paulo State in the headquarters.

In that State different departments giving different kinds of environmental permits. Her responsabilities include coordinating these different kinds of permits.

From 1998 to 2000 she worked redesigning the environmental permit in the State of São Paulo, and descentralization of environmental permits from State to local autorithies. She also worked in the permitting support to descentralized environmental agency units.
