Andres FALCONER joined LEAD as National Program Director in Brazil, and Executive Coordinator of ABDL (Brazilian Association of Leadership Development - LEAD Brazil's host) in March 2001. Among his previous engagements, Andres was Program Manager at IDIS (Institute for the Development of Social Investment), providing technical support to Brazilian corporations and corporate foundations in their social development initiatives, and Coordinator of the Center for Third Sector Management Studies at the University of São Paulo. He has been actively involved in the study of the NGO or civil society sector. He currently teaches courses on leadership, civil society, and non-profit management in Masters level and certificate programs in the University of São Paulo.
He holds a masters degree in management from the University of São Paulo, and was a fellow at the Johns Hopkins Center for Civil Society Studies.
Andres Falconer assumiu a Coordenạcao Executiva da ABDL e a Direcao Nacional do programa LEAD em Marco de 2001. Anteriormente a esta posicao, foi Gerente de Projetos do Instituto para o Desenvolvimento o Investimento Social (IDIS), Coordenador de Projetos do Centro de Estudos em Administracao do Terceiro Setor da Universidade de Ṣo Paulo (CEATS-USP), e pesquisador da Fundacao Instituto de Administracao da Faculdade de Economia e Administra̤̣o da USP (FIA-FEA-USP), onde atuou como consultor e pesquisador em projetos junto a organizacoes publicas, privadas, ṇo-governamentais e internacionais.
