Amos PEREZ is the Subdirector of Regionalization in Natural Resources Direction at INEGI in Aguascalientes. He is responsible for quality control of information of natural resources and projects of land evaluation, climate and cartography of the insular territory.

He has worked for INEGI since 1989, where he had had diverse positions in the organization. He has been: Pedology specialist; training administration in Cartography, Geography, Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems; subdirector project of sample analysis of soil, rock, water and vegetation

He is a Biologist. Her interests and work experience recently has been focused in GIS applications on the study of the natural resources and the modeling of environmental phenomena.

He is also professor at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, where he teaches subjects like GIS, Ecological Ordering and Global Change. He also is a lecturer on themes like Natural resources and Globalization.

Among his hobbies is the practice of Buddhism.
