Wanessa is Brazilian, has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations, and she’s on the New Earth Leaders (NEL) program. The NEL is a partnership between Brazil and the Netherlands, a leadership program in which young professionals use the Earth Charter as an ethical framework for solving sustainable business cases and growing as sustainability leaders. Among other attributions at the World Bank, Wanessa is working to make the Brazilian office a reference in green culture and sustainable practices. She has a background in events organization to international trade promotion and experience in the financial and banking sectors. She believes in the positive power of international cooperation between countries, and that knowledge must be shared.
