Adetayo is an environmental scientist who has specialized training in Natural Resource Management. He holds a Masters degree in Environmental Toxicology and Pollution Management from the University of Lagos following his Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He attended Tropical Biology Association (TBA) field course on Tropical Ecology at the Amani Nature Reserve in Tanzania (2007).

Adetayo currently works, as a principal officer, with the Nigerian Conservation Foundation, a leading environmental non-governmental organization in Nigeria. He is into project development and management. He currently coordinates the Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP) project sponsored by Shell and the GEF- Small Grant Programme sponsored project both in Edo State Nigeria.

Mr. Adetayo has cognate experience in Project management, Project Planning, Development & Design, Technical report writing, Natural Resource Management with Sustainable Enterprise Development, Programme Monitoring & Evaluation, Programme Facilitation and Coordination, Capacity Building, Leadership, Learning and Development, Health Safety & Environment.

He has been able to promote stakeholders relationship in rural development projects. He is an evaluator for protected area management effectiveness of the West and Central Africa Programme of the IUCN (World Conservation Union) regional office.

Mr. Okunlola has undergone trainings in natural resources management, strategic planning, protected area management, adaptive approach to landscape management, environmental and conservation leadership with reputable organizations and Institutions like: Smithsonian Institution in the United State of America; WWF; IUCN and University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, USA.
