I joined Business in the Community's environment campaign in August 2007. My role includes developing and delivering bespoke advisory services to businesses including environmental benchmarking; running the environmental Awards for Excellence; capturing and disseminating best environmental practice from BITC member companies; supporting and challenging businesses on non-climate change issues (for example waste, water and biodiversity) and reviewing the Royal Warrants for HRH the Prince of Wales and Her Majesty the Queen.

Previously I had been working in Mozambique as a corporate responsibility consultant in the tourism industry, focusing on environmental impact and community engagement among hotels. Prior to that, I worked for Solarcentury, and two years at the Department for International Development (DFID) in the Africa Division.
I also spent a year in India working in disaster mitigation.

I have an MA in Environment and Development and a BA in Geography. I am a Trustee of an HIV orphans charity and continue to volunteer for Sindisa Foundation, Mozambique.
