Allen Manser is currently based in Africa working for the William J. Clinton Foundation as part of the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative (CHAI). Prior to joining the Clinton Foundation, he spent almost two years as a management consultant at Accenture, where he contributed to strategic work in the resources and high-tech sectors. Mr. Manser is also a co-founder and director of Canadian communications technology startup Cloudtel. He actively contributes to his alma mater coaching undergraduate business case competition teams and as a councilor on the Future Alumni Leaders Council of the University of British Columbia, where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Sauder School of Business.

Mr. Manser is fascinated by the role that for-benefit business models, inter-disciplinary approaches, and bottom-up entrepreneurship can play in addressing the some of the world’s most pressing challenges including accessible global healthcare, energy independence, and poverty reduction. Because the concept of sustainability must apply across the board in social, financial, and environmental contexts he strongly believes that disciplined ideation, scalable technology, and business processes that contribute to sustainable wealth creation are fundamental in addressing these challenges. Also, he is very interested in the design of exceptional conscious learning environments for the education of young leaders worldwide, which he believes is fundamental for enabling current and future generations to take responsibility for affecting significant change.
