My name is Vana Tércia Silva de Freitas, born in 1978. I graduated in Business Administration from the faculty - Unified Education Association of the Federal District.
I worked at IBM in administrative support in the area of marketing - sales to the public sector in 2002.
In December 2004, I passed in national contest. I chose the Ministry of the Environment which is a government body of administration, which responds directly to the Presidency of the Republic.
I work as an environmental analyst. This position encompasses the formulation of national policies for the environment, management and planning of the use and access to environmental resources, improving environmental quality and sustainable use of natural resources; studies and proposes strategic tools for the implementation of environmental national policies as well as its monitoring, evaluation and control. Furthermore, it develops strategies and proposals to manage the integration between environmental and sector policies, based on the principles and guidelines of sustainable development.
In 2005, I worked in the Department of Genetic Heritage in the administrative area. In early 2006, I was transferred to the Department of Economics and the Environment, where I coordinated the area of economic instruments. In the middle of 2007, I had worked with the Sustainable Production and Consumption. At moment, I working with Consumer Awareness and the Marrakech Process in the Secretariat of Institutional Articulation and Environmental Citizenship of MMA.
Interest in themes: social responsibility, sustainable consumption and networks.

Sou graduada em administração de empresas pela Associação de Ensino Unificado do Distrito Federal.
Trabalhei na IBM na área administrativa no suporte a área de marketing - vendas para o setor público.
Em 2004, parei de render lucros para multinacional e fiz o concurso do Ministério do Meio Ambiente. Em 2005 foi formada a primeira turma de analistas ambientais do Ministério do Meio Ambiente. No ano de 2005 trabalhei no Departamento de Patrimônio Genético na área administrativa. No início de 2006 consegui transferência para o Departamento de Economia e Meio Ambiente onde fui coordenadora da área de instrumentos econômicos. Em meados de 2007 iniciamos os trabalhos com Produção e Consumo Sustentável. Hoje trabalho com Consumo Consciente e com o Processo de Marrakech na Secretaria de Articulação Institucional e Cidadania Ambiental do MMA.

Nasci em Brasília, tenho 31 anos e danço Ballet Clássico pelo Centro de Dança Athos Bulcão.
