Verónica González Sepúlveda is the sub-director of Air Quality Programs at the SEMARNAT. She is responsible for the elaboration of the air quality programs in those cities that have atmospheric pollution problems.
Before her present job in the air quality department, she worked as Department Chief in the Transportation Sector in SEMARNAT, elaborating projects both at a national and International level. She also worked as Chief of Unit in Environmental Education Projects aimed at primary and high school alumni.
From her experience, she developed a strong sense of environmental justice and the necessary tools to be applied. Hence, she has a particular interest for the following subjects: health, environmental policy, and environmental justice.
Verónica achieved a bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering. She teaches at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and is currently studying a Master in Business Administration at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico.
