Monika has worked in leadership development, sustainability, diversity, culture change and community engagement for the past 10 years. She has a strong commitment to positively shaping the future by creating learning experiences that are regenerative for the planet and nourish a thriving human culture for future generations.

Her consulting career has involved working with Future Considerations in London with a number of public and blue-chip clients such as HSBC, KPMG, PwC, Barclay Card, BP and others and, previously, with the global Diversity Department of DHL. Prior to that she was part of AIESEC International's leadership team, based in Rotterdam, where she was responsible for people development and the implementation of a large scale change process that redefined the nature, role and core work of the organisation. She has also been particularly engaged in the grass roots of the sustainability sector, working with a German federal enterprise in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development (GIZ) in Quito, Ecuador, for the department of decentralization, and for the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development in Germany, on a project to support civil peacekeeping forces.

Monika holds a Masters degree from the University of Bonn, where she studied Sociology, Cultural Anthropology and Archaeology. She has trained as co-active coach with Coaches Training Institute (CTI). She is fluent in German and Spanish. In 2009, she took a 9-month sabbatical to learn and benefit from real experiences of sustainable livelihoods across the world. Inspired by this experience, she undertook a Permaculture Design course and started her Permaculture Diploma in February 2013.
